Project Summary
The trust fund provides reliable recurrent funding for the establishment and management of a national system of protected areas, and development of the institutional and human resource capacities needed to manage the national system. This project is testing the feasibility of a trust fund mechanism for providing long-term, sustainable finance for biological conservation programs in the protected areas.
