Project Summary
: The overall goal of the project is to strengthen and consolidate the Rwandan Renewable Energy market. The PDO for SEDP is:• Improve policy and institutional framework of the Renewable Energy and Energy efficiency sub-sectors • Increase Private sector Participation in the Renewable Energy SectorThe key Global performance indicator is: avoided carbon dioxide emissions. Total estimated emission reductions from the activities addressing the capacities of RE facilities during the projects life are estimated at 0.63 million metric tons of CO2, over the lifetime of the systems.
