Strengthening Institutional Capacities for Coordinating Multi-Sectoral Environmental Policies and Programmes
Project Summary
The proposed MSP will create a new policy coordination structure (an organizational entity) and mechanism (representational committee) by streamlining the existing multiple and overlapping ones. This new structure and mechanism will facilitate and catalyze the strategic review of Belize’s many environmental policies with the aim of maximizing synergies and efficiencies to conserve biodiversity, adapt to and mitigate impacts of climate change, and reduce land degradation.
