The project goal is to strengthen the sustainability and management effectiveness of Botswana’s system of protected areas. The project objective is to catalyze working partnerships between public , private, NGO, and communitystakehodlers to improve the financial and operational sustainability of protected areas. The project objective is expected to be achieved through:1) Strengthening enabling environment2) Effective PA comanagement systems demonstrated at site level3) Increased institutional cpaacity to effectively fulfill PA management functions
