Public Sector Energy Efficiency Programme
Project Summary
The project aims to improve the energy efficiency of its public sector thus mitigating the emissions of greenhouse gases, mainly carbon dioxide. the project seeks to remove the barriers for a sustained market of energy efficiency services and promote the implementation of energy efficiency projects in municipalities, hospitals and other public institutions. It is estimated that the project will directly help generate 45-75 projects which will result in mitigating carbon emissions. It is estimated that conditions to implement a great part of the 2.5 MtC medium-term reduction potential in the public sector will be created with additional local and global benefits.
