The core objective of the Project is to move - under a commercial and sustainable solution - a significant part of the population with no or unreliable access to electricity away from the polluting fuel-based lighting to the less polluting and higher quality modern lighting sources, thus reducing CO2 emissions, increasing household productivity and fostering economic and social development.
