Improve Mercury Management in India
Project Summary
Strengthen India’s capacity to manage and monitor mercury use, import, export, stockpiles, emissions and releases throughout the country (with a particular focus on Annex A (Part I), Annex B and Annex D of the Minamata Convention) and enable India to take an informed decision on ratifying the Minamata Convention and to meet future obligations under the Convention.
