The overall objective of the project is to develop policy-relevant capacity for implementation of the global environmental conventions.-Policy and institutional reform is informed by the relevant Global Environment issues -Strengthening capacity of policy organizations in mainstreaming the concepts of the Rio conventions in national policy making-Strengthening the capacity of the research institutions in developing and conducting policy-oriented research related to the Rio Conventions
