bring adequate response to the challenges associated with the commitments to the Convention. The objective is to foster and strengthen the active participation of key sectors in the definition and execution of the actions necessary to fulfil the Convention’s objectives. Phase II project will focus mainly on technology transfer issues as they relate to (a) refining the National Climate Change Strategy with the citizens participation (b) institutional strengthening, and (c) public, relevant sectors and institutions awareness as well the inclusion of the climate change problematic in the formal education system.
