Climate Change Enabling Activity (Addional Financing for Capacity Building in Priority Areas)
Project Summary
Phase II is intended to provide for the continuity of the National Climate Change Programme in The Bahamas by addressing weaknesses and areas not covered by the initial efforts. In many ways this is testament to the fact that national capacity as a result of training and awareness, has been enhanced to the point where the strengths and weaknesses of the initial Enabling Activity’s project design have been identified. The continuity of the project will focus on the further development of national capacity through, the review of technological needs, capacity building in systematic observation networks and in the area of emission factors for a small island economy.
