The GEF Agency retreat is a bi-annual meeting that gathers the participation of the Coordinators from the 18 GEF implementing Agencies, STAP and the GEF Secretariat. It provides an opportunity to gather all Agency representatives for open dialogue and provide updates relevant to new GEF Policies, Operational procedures and more. The retreat usually spans over 2/3 days and meets in Washington D.C. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic the retreat has moved to a virtual format.
